Where’s the Tomcat Dog Tag Bottle Opener Been?

In our quest to spread the Tomcat Brand world-wide, we are starting to chronicle where our newly minted Tomcat Dog Tag Bottle Openers are worn.  Chico brought his to Hollywood Florida for the holidays and has proof:

(secretly, Chico is just trying to show us all his nips!)

While at a bar, a cute waitress asked to wear the dog tag as well.  Shortly thereafter, Chico signed her breast with a sharpie…it’s great to be a Tomcat!

Where will you wear your dog tag???

Latest St. Felix out! Also, remember hockey starts back up January 14th…6:30pm sharp!

8 Grinches and a Stevo Clause (Harry Palm Press)

Posted by 81rocky on December 24, 2013

There were but 8 days until Christmas and yet the Tomcats came; whether they be young or whether they be old.

It was said that all were secretly wishing they’d be good, so Stevo Clause wouldn’t forget them and remember to leave a gift.

First there was the mini to play, of which the Matador Mustangs commandingly took – each of his players Scrooge like in their quest for the last game glory.

When the final buzzer sounded, and the three stars were sung out, the remaining Tomcats took off quick as a fart; all hoping to be the first to sit on Stevo Clause’s lap.

As the final wrappings were torn, there remained not a dry eye in the house – until the end of the merriment which lasted quite long.

When the last of the merriments had been drunk, and belts loosened for another of the Turk’s veggie pizza delight, the lights went out on another hockey night.

Before any tears are shed, Harry, Yurri, and Phil remind you with cheer – it’s but a few short weeks  wait until the New Year!

Merry Christmas, Kwanza or whatever – and to all a good night!!

Rocky Rockets: Rocky, Sunny, Chevy, Stevo, Sheep Dog, Razor and Doc
Matador Mustangs: Matador, Crow, Soupy, Snowpants, Killer, Falcon, Kamikaze and the Rake
Cribize Comets: Cribzie, Tunes, Lovie. Spinner, Sparky, Skippy and Chico

The Matador Mustangs take the pre Christmas tournament with a commanding 8 points. The three star selection as selected by La Bamba, 3rd star, Tunes. the second star, The Matador and the first star, Crow.

The three stars, and with Christmas just around the corner, these three are also known as the three wise man.

The three stars, and with Christmas just around the corner, these three are also known as the three wise man.

Tomcat Christmas presents were also handed out to everyone, and Rocky had everyone wait, so that everyone could open the present at the same time, which they did. Dog tag bottle openers with Windsor Tomcats was one item and on the back of it, it read, “If found return to the Kapusta Kow Palace.”  The second bottle opener was a classy iron bottle opener with Windsor Tomcats on it…a collectors item to cherish (and use) year after year.

The Tomcats attended the Tomcat club and ate pizza and consumed some beer and mixed drinks.

Snowpants clears the empties to make way for a second round of drinks for the boys.

Snowpants clears the empties to make way for a second round of drinks for the boys.

Stevo made a toast wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and then stated, ‘Tomcats Forever’, to which the boys belted out (very very proudly) the Tomcats Forever song. God Bless the Tomcats.

Hockey starts back up January 14, 2014, and that is the night the draft will go too.

The draft order was selected and for details on the Captains and their place in picking, check out the St. Felix, due out January 2-3, 2014.

Well I wish we were under the mistletoe, so I could put my Harry Ballsonue.

Black Bombers: Falcon, Chevy, Soupy, Chico, Killer, SParky and the Turk

White Warriors: Razor, Spinner, Doc, Snowpants, the Rake, Hurricane and Jingles

A night where there was no Stevo, no Rocky and no Hollywood to lead the way, but there was still plenty of action. The Bombers started out quickly, but the Warriors kept the pressure on. The first game went down to the wire, as the Bombers scored in the dying seconds to take the game by a score of 10-9.

The second game went back and forth and ended with a 3-2 victory for the Bombers.

What a great night!

TOMCATS FOREVER!

It was a throwback Tuesday kind of night at “The Kapusta Cow Palace.”

With Harry away, Bloggy not available, even Howie was missing from the press box. They should’ve seen it. There has not been a Canada vs Ukraine game in years, and yet last night it was Magic(not Johnson) on the floor. It was a hard fought battle between both teams, kind of like an old drunk blind guy chasing a young spry goat around a barn, trying to have relations with it.

Lined up for Canada was; Mike Falcon, Matthew Matador, Aye Tunes, Danny Mez, Victor Snowpants, Aaron Chico, and Sammy Soupy!

On the opposing side for Ukraine; Mykhaylo Hollywoodowsky, Kevin Jinglevych, Pavlo Sparkylenko, David Hannowsky, Stefan Shovevich, Andriy Docevinsky, and David Spinnerovych.

Ukraine opened up the scoring at 8:54 of the first period on a love pass from Shovevich to Jinglevych. Falcon did everything he could to stop that Strong Ukraine offense! Ukraine after first period was up 4-1. But like that dude on the subway that told Kramer “Ukraine is weak”! That is the motto that Canada went with in the next period, tying the score up. Evened up at 4-4, thanks to awesome playmaking and passing from Chico and Soupy!

It became very intense hockey, with neither team wanting to make a mistake, especially to give up that next goal! The final score of the first series ended up squared up at 6-6. Player/Coach Snowpants, was seen talking intensely to Matador and Tunes, on what has to be done in the next game. Meanwhile on the Ukraine bench, you could see the boys eating perogies, and drinking from their Vodka water bottles!

The second game was similar to first, Like a bunch of ‘Muricans fighting over a 54” TV in a Walmart in Mississippi on black Friday. Good hockey, but Ukraine was up 5-2 after the first. The defensive pair of Sparkylenko and Hannowsky were on fire. Docevinsky was a definite presence in front of the net, screening Falcon all the time!
Falcon was interviewed in between periods and said ”if you look at the shots for and against it says Ukraine 43, and Canada 11. I think we should get more shots on net, get in on Hollywoodowsky, rattle him a little bit, kind of get on his nerves”! Tunes said in his in between period “ shoot it, he knocks it down, I shoot it again he somehow sticks his stick out and magically knocks it down” on Hollywoodowsky’s performance on the night.

Team Canada came on strong in the next period, with a cople of goals from Mez and Snowpants, the next thing you know, 5-5 was the score.
It was a battle, but Spinnerovych put the final nail in the coffin at 14:34 of that period to put Ukraine up 7-6. Canada also took advantage of a time out with 1:03 left in the game to plan their final attack. But it was over at the final buzzer. Matador let out a final “hey”! Whatever that meant!

The final handshakes, sticks in the air, the crowd got what they came for good even, clean hockey! The teams even enjoyed bevies together after the game. Everybody was quoting the Matador,“HEY”!

Remember boys keep your wives close, and your girlfriends closer! Phil Landerer is not too far away. Cheers!

Special thanks to Chevy, Snowpants, Sunny and Hollywood for a super fantastic job organizing the event. Also thanks to Crow for the bus, (And Alistair for driving the bus) I know with the huge success of the bus ride there and back, we may need to get a Tomcat bus of our own, that holds 25-30 for the party next year.
