You can’t hang a hockey jersey in the net and expect to have a fun game of hockey. You can’t turn the nets around and say, score on them, from behind. Pylons in the net? C’mon. Goalies are the life blood of a great game of hockey, Wayne Gretzky says, “Goaltending winds championships”. The Tomcats have some beauties, The Falcon, The Terror, Chico, Skuz, The Danish and of course Skippy. “I personally would love to see The Danish out more this year”, indicated Matador and added, “you can never have enough fine goaltending in the system.
Matador a part time-part time goalie himself, has helped out in the past, as has Hollywood, Hurricane and Stevo. “I love playing in net, I would play full-time if they needed a full-time goalie”stated Hollywood.
September 18 hockey starts, but it is this picture that everyone should be chasing, when everyone comes
together for hockey, a beer and to be together. Tomcats Forever !
September 18 is the first night of hockey, there will be a ‘What the Tomcats Think They Know’, a few days before. If you are playing then no worries, if you are not able to play, then why not let Stevo know now that you are out for the first week.
