What looked to be the second mini of the season (after the opening night), turned out to be just a 2-team night with almost full benches. A couple of no shows caused us to switch at the 11th hour. Is it so hard to text/email Rocky to let him know if you are playing or not? Even texts to some players were not returned. The Tomcats are looking to institute a mandatory fine for not notifying.
TEAMS:
St. Louis Shacklers – Shack (G), Snowpants, Bullwinkle, Hurricane, Rocky, Matador, Kamikaze, Sunny and Cribzie
Toronto Terrorons – Terror (G), Chico, Tonto, Chevy, Soupy, Beep, Killer and LaBamba
The first game was pretty back and forth ending in 7-6 win for the team from Toronto. The second game, not so even, with Toronto taking it 7-3. The final game was no surprise, with the much too talented Terrorons taking the tilt – 7-5.
Thanks to Doc for reffing once again and making calls related to the new slashing rule. The Tomcats will continue to crack-down (no pun intended) on these infractions. Beer was plentiful on stage after, and the usual banter ensued. it was great seeing Cribzie and Matador make their season debuts and receive their start of the season gifts.

The Matador made his debut last night and was seen sporting last season’s tracksuit with this season’s new matching trucker hat.
Rocky is out next week on a scouting trip to Denver…the Tomcats heard their are some up and coming talent in that city and they know how to use their texting machines appropriately. Kamikaze has the book.
Until next time,
Howie Feltersnatch
