Shack pictured here with Stevo was a good Tomcat. He played in net when asked and should not be banished from the Tomcat world.

The Tomcats are having a 30 year anniversary dinner/dance April 13. Date and venue set, along with some entertainment, and speeches, (President Rocky, Alumni President Sea Lion and Assistant Captain Sparky) Are said to be some of the speakers that evening for this momentous evening. Mark it on your calendar, tell your family and friends. Tickets will only be $20 and you will get a full meal. Rocky is urging every Tomcat to attend, no excuses, it is the 30 year anniversary gala and everyone should attend. It really is a once in a life time thing, Next gala may be at the 50 year mark, but why wait, why not go to this one, while you still don’t need a walker. So please come to the this event!
ON THE INJURY FRONT
Tomcats announced on Tuesday afternoon that the Turk and Spinner have been scratched for the rest of the season. This will be first time the Turk, in 28 glorious years with the Tomcats, (2 with the Fabulous Thunderbirds) has not played a game at the beloved Kapusta Now, where he grew up honing his basketball and hockey skills. For those of you who may not know it, the Turk was better then most NBA players in the fade away shot.
Spinner has also been shelved for the rest of the year with an upper body injury.
In happier injury news, Skuz returned from his long absence from the Tomcats and indicated that his lower body injury felt good. “I felt good out there tonight, seemed to be great, it is super fantastic being with all the boys”, a weepy Skuz said.
The Four Captains this year are Rocky, Snowpants, Sunny and Tonto. Should be very interesting as to what they each come up for their tournament team name and shirt log design and idea. Every year it seems to get better and better.
La Bamba’s shirt from a few years back has to be one of my favourites. I was fortunate enough to buy one at a trade show in Vegas about a year ago. I wear it only on special occasions and at least and I mean this when I say it…at least 3-4 random people will come up to me and compliment me on my shirt ! Great job La Bamba!
While you bleeding hearts are thinking, yeah, a life time band for Shack is too much, they should bring him back, to you think I could put may Harry Ballsonue.
