The Gordon’s Gin Golf League kicked off on May 30, 2017 at the Belleview Golf and Country Club. Tomcat veterans May Day and Stevo were joined by refereeing legends The Seal Lion and the Bundura.
“I like it”, chortled Stevo. “ You can’t get any better playing in a golf league with only four guys. I have a chance to win this thing. But it will be tough as we all know the Bundura and the Seal Lion are sticklers for the rules”. “I can’t think of a better place to kick off our league than Belleview”, said Mayday.
The young Golf Fans come and ask me, “Are you the Sea Lion one of the best Tomcat golfers and best refs ever?” I’m humbled, I say ” thank you, and yes, I am the Sea Lion, half decent golfer, great ref and great lover ”.
The Sea Lion was training the new staff in the bar after the round of golf. He was instructing the bartender and server on how to properly mix the official drink of the league, gin and tonic. Stevo demanded the bar order honey bourbon and the staff promised it will be available for next Tuesday’s round.

Commissioner of the Gordon’s Gin League May Day said, “ We already have a waiting list of 30 guys. And 20 guys are golfing next week”!
The fellows were also discussing movies they recently saw. The overwhelming favorite was Black Cocks and Goldilocks.
