2017 has yet to see a mini. Between injuries, contract stalemates and league-sanctioned suspensions due to inappropriate use of social media within the locker room, the Tomcats have yet to get enough eligible players out on a Tuesday for some three team action.
Teams last night were:
Falcon’s Flaming Flamingos – White – The Falcon, Hollywood, Sunny, The Rake, El Choppo, Snowpants, Matador and the Turk
Skippy’s Skipping Skippers – Black – Skippy, Scuz, Kamikaze, Rocky, Chevy, Sparky and Soupy
Good hockey all around with some nice passes, laser shooting, sweat moves and some highlight saves by both teams. You can tell guys are really sharpening up on their skills ahead of the big tournament February 25th.
Super solid goes out to Sunny for getting there early and shoveling show off the steps. He is a rare Tomcat that goes out of his way to always do his part with set up, planning events, etc. Sunny also brought out a 12 pack for missing the previous week (fine is only a six pack).
Another shout out to Snowpants for arranging the sticks in the Tomcat room so each was spaced exactly 1/8th from the next and ordered shortest to tallest. Again, another guy who always contributes and never just shows up to only play!
