First Night of 2017…a Throwback to the good old daysTomcats were kicking it old school last night with a good ole night of two-team hockey. It was The Falcon’s White Scoregasims vs. The Terror’s Black Short Shorts.
Scoregasims – Falcon, Sheepdog, Cribzie, Killer, LaBamba, El Choppo, The Rake, and Snowpants
Short Shorts – Terror, Kamikaze (who the team was named after), Sparky, Rocky, Soupy, Hurricane, Bulldog and Scuz
The games were fast-paced with lots of nice passes made by the Short Shorts. And Speaking of Short Shorts, Kamikaze apparently misplaced all of his athletic clothing so he borrowed Sparky’s high-school gym shorts from 1989. Never have the Tomcats seen so much leg outside of a gentleman’s establishment. The Falcon even asked for a penalty to be called…not for guys taking a chop at his hand, but for the shorts worn by Kamikaze.
In the end, the games were tilted against the Scoregasims, as the Black Shorts were just too much and took both games in the end.
Big shout outs go to Falcon for bringing in a 30 instead of a 12. As well, Sheepdog provided the boys with some meat and cheese snacks after the games.
The draft is set for next week so all guys have committed for this year’s tournament. Plenty of guys to play but some big time names not taking part this year (Stevo, Hollywood, Spinner). Hopefully they will stop by for some drinks and to take in the festivities.
