Windsor Tomcats

The Tomcats are not looking to 2017 to have a Rocky start, they want a prosperous and happy start.

Rocky has done a fantastic job for 2016 and will no doubt continue on in 2017.  Everyone is asked to help and that means the same guys should not be always setting up and taking down.  YOU NEED to ask yourself, ‘when was the last time I helped set up or take down’.  If  you are just sitting on the orange chair at the start and at the end, and shooting the breeze with your ‘chair buddy’, you are the problem so why not be the solution.

Doc has been put on the IR and will be out for 4-5 weeks, due to what the Tomcats are calling ‘ an upper body injury ‘. “He suffered an injury off the Kapusta Kow Palace floor and will be out for 4-5 weeks, it will be difficult to replace his grit and tenacity, but we will try by giving Kamikaze and Killer more time crashing the net”, stated Coach Sea Lion with a wry smile.

Still no word on Razor’ return, his sports groin injury is taking a while to heal and the Tomcats are optimistic that he will be back in the line up soon.  The players and the fans miss Razor and it would sure be nice to see him back playing again soon.

Kamikaze and Doc have extended the Draft List till Thursday January 5. 2017.  If you have not let them know if you are in or out of the tournament, they are asking that you please do so now before Thursday January 5, 2017.

The draft is Tuesday January 17 and the Captains (Sparky, Hurricane, Bulldog and May Day) need to see the list of players that will be playing this year, in order to start making draft strategies.

The Sparky Mania, Hurricane Lunatics, Bulldog Insanity and the May Day Rage (I have not been made aware of the names of the teams so just making some up for the blog) but I like name ’Sparky Mania’ and the ‘May Day Rage’…what would the logos look like for those names?

Hockey starts up January 10, 2017.  If you are not able to make it, please let Rocky know.
