With 8 weeks into the Windsor Tomcat season, very little has changed, Rocky seems to have it down to perfection running the well oiled Tomcat machine. There was a slight delay to the season due to roof leaks, but Rocky handled that keeping everyone advised.  At the start of the season a great start of the season gift was handed out (See photo above). “I think he is doing a super fantastic job”, stated La Bamba, “The Tomcats have not missed a beat with him at the helm”. La Bamba finished.

Hockey on the 15th was very good, the Headlines could have easily been. SPINNER POSSESSED SCORES LIKE A MAD MAN or SKUZ STEALS GAMES…. A REGULAR DOMINK HASEK and or SOUPY SAVES DAY AND GETS ICE. Spinner was scoring, passing, checking, scoring and just about doing it all. Scuz was incredible in net (so was Hurricane and the Matador) but the Scuz was a game stealer and made some fantastic saves.  Soupy, not afraid to take charge, came up with the ice and placed on the beer..thus being a super hero game saver.  In case you are wondering, the Soupy Condors won the mini.

Some issues with the score clock at the start of the night, but Rocky and Kamikaze got the tools out and checked the Knutson Valve and the Johnson Rod and seemed to make it work, so the Sparky score clock worked and the night was saved.

Keep in mind that the Tomcat Christmas party is on Saturday December 17th.  Snowpants and Chevy are collecting money, so get your money in to them, so that they know you are going.  Be courteous be kind. Snowpants has indicated that there will be door prizes and “ it should be a good time” stated Snowpants.

A search is on for a bar to replace Purples, (Who is kidding who…how can you ever replace Purples) but some of the boys, Hurricane, Stevo, Kamikaze and Doc went to Orwells, located at the corner of Shepherd and Kildare.  “what a great atmosphere” stated Kamikaze.  “I loved the bar and the feel of it, I think it is definitely a place where the Tomcats can go and have a drink and some food” Stated Doc.  Hurricane stated, “It is a block or two further away than Purples, but really it is close by, guys will like it” Stated Hurricane.

And while you are looking at the team names and thinking those are scavenger birds, the condors, a buzzard and a vulture, do you think I could put my Harry Ballsonue
