2016 starts out on a cold night, but the 27 days off over Christmas did not seem to hinder the play. It was fast and furious and the play was all good. The Soupy Sexy Spartans won the Mini. “It’s great that we get to prep for the real draft on nights like this”, stated Soupy, “You learn so much as a Tomcat”.
“It is cool, the way they (Tomcat Management) does it, you are going to be a Captain for the tournament and then they give you the experience of drafting a team on Tuesday nights before the tournament draft. More organization can learn from the Tomcats and what it is like to run a well oiled machine.” stated Beep.
Snowpants was in the line up and did not seem to miss a beat. “I felt good out there, I had five weeks to heal and heal I must of done, because I feel great”, stated Snowpants.
The draft order and schedule order has been established, it is as follows:
First pick goes to the Soupy Sexy Spartans
Second pick goes to the Beep Honey Badgers
Thrid pick goes to the Tunzie Titans
Fourth pick goes to the Matador Marlies
The schedule is as follows….Beep is team A, Tunzie is team B, Matador is team C and Soupy is team D

It was nice to see Bulldog in the line up last night. There were four orignals in the line up last night, it should be noted that Turk, Bulldog, Stevo and the Hurricane were on the original roster back in 1989.
Where were you in 1989?
“It has been a great deal of fun”, stated Bulldog, “I have been Bulldog for over 26 years, Stevo gave me that nick name and it has stuck, hell even my kids call my Bulldog”, Bulldod said laughing.

‘Celebration of Life”
Our Friend Franca passed away in December 2015 and the Family will be having a celebration of life for her on Saturday March 5, at Purples. Friends are asked to attend for a dinner and to Celebrate Franca’s life. Many Tomcats knew her and if you can, please consider showing support for her family by joining them at Purples for 4pm, March 5 (dinner to be served at 5) IF GOING COULD YOU LET STEVO KNOW, SO THAT HE CAN LET Mo and Jerry know so they have an idea on numbers attending.

Mine is ‘Soul Love, its off the Ziggy Stardust album if you don’t know it, look it up, did you know David Bowie played guitar and saxaphone? He also said he did not remeber 1977 due to a great deal of drugs.
