On December 20, at the Christmas Tomcat Christmas party, two Tomcat legends , ‘The Ledged’ and Rex Brennen got to meet their favourite Tomcat, Snowpants. “We watch him on. T.V. all them time, either on Tomcat T.V. or on TSN or Sportsnet, the guys is fabulous.” indicated Rex Brennen. The admiration does not stop there. It was Snowpants who worshipped these two Tomcats as a kid growing up, “I wanted to get a #23 Legend Tomcat Jersey for Christmas, when I was a kid “stated a laughing Snowpants, “but I got a #27 ‘The Mayor’ one instead, I was not disappointed, but I loved the Ledged and the havoc he would wreck out on the Kapusta Kow floor. Rex Brennen was always this classy Captain type that I wanted to be like.” Snowpants said blushing.
Snowpants finally gets to meet his two boyhood heroes, the Legend and Rexy. "I grew up idolizing these guys," stated a beaming Snowpants.
Tomcats have a few days off now and don’t start up the ruckus on the Kapusta Kow Floor again until Janaury 10, 2012, lots of time to be doing some wind sprints and callastanics to prepare for the start of the second part of the season.
First night back…. for beer January 10 is Shamu 24 and JIngles 12.

Draft for February tournament goes January 31 The May Day Marauders have first pick.Rocky keeps his second pick, the Yuri Met’s go third and Steve Stingrays pick fourth. Stevo, of the Stingrays is thinking of changing the name of his team the Honey Badgers, but right now, because he does care, he does not think he can make the name change. Stevo, who loves drinking the Snake Bite (Half Guinness half Strong bow) and is thinking of having a ‘Snake Bite’ night. is also considering the name the Stevo Snake Bites…..but again, that is not a for sure.
The February 2012, St. Felix is to come out first few days of Janaury, so keep your eye out for that 4 pager…loaded with lots of tournament information, all the Minister’s and their roles and yet another Tomcat interview, this one with #44, Spinner. (Not available on news stands!!!)
